Creating the message
Our specialist team includes practitioners with many years' experience of business-to-business, consumer, corporate, industrial and technical public relations.
For most of our clients our brief is to:
- Increase significantly the amount of editorial coverage in the media about the organisation, its activities, products and services.
- Raise awareness of who they are and what they do.
- Establish and maintain a high level of credibility.
- Generate high quality sales enquiries.
To achieve these objectives and ensure that the messages are being communicated to the decision makers and opinion formers our clients want to reach, we use a variety of media, techniques and opportunities.
Case studies
The best form of public relations is when your customers do the talking.
Application stories demonstrate capabilities and creativity in action, immediately establishing credibility and providing the reader with points-of-reference with which they can relate and identify.
Writing and placing articles
Many editors are open to ideas for interesting and relevant articles, written by the leader in a particular field. These are an excellent way to create, build and maintain credibility with the people our client wants to influence and inform.
We come up with an idea, discuss it with the editor and then put together the story to an agreed length, style and format. We also arrange photography, illustrations, interviews and footage and make sure that the editor has everything he/she needs to ensure the item appears.
Special Features
Most magazines and newspapers plan features on specific topics.
These provide ideal opportunities for our clients to gain coverage and, in many instances, be the main subject of the feature.
The needs of each publication is different. Some are simply looking for a 300 word press release, others want a 1,500 word article.
To achieve the best possible coverage, we research, check and supply what is required.
Media
We have close relationships with the editors and journalists on a wide range of media including:
- SkyscrapersNational newspapers
- Regional dailies and weeklies
- Consumer magazines
- Business-to-business, trade and professional journals
- Specialist writers, freelance journalists and stringers
- Radio and television producers
- Electronic media reporters
By giving editors and journalists stories that they want to use, we create significant amounts of coverage for our clients.
Level of activity
If an on-going consistent public relations programme is required, a monthly schedule of activity is drawn-up and put into action.
Alternatively, public relations may be ad hoc, with selected stories and features being written and placed as and when necessary.
Promotions
We are always on the look out for any opportunities to promote our clients and their products and services.
In addition to conventional editorial coverage, there are other ways to get you in front of the people you want to talk with, including competitions, profiles and sponsorship opportunities.
