In their 14 year history the MOBO Awards have played an instrumental role in elevating black music and culture to mainstream popular status in the UK. As well as showcasing a wide array of top international talent, MOBO is proud to have been a catalyst in the careers of numerous UK artists.

We built a high performance site supporting the run up to the 2009 MOBO Awards and the televised award ceremony watched by millions. The site supported thousands of votes, video, advertising and user generated content.

Future Publishing are the third largest consumer publisher on the UK news stand and the biggest licenser and exporter of magazines in the UK. They produce over 70 magazines each month along with 60 websites.

We were commissioned to deliver a dazzling photography site combining both editorial and community features. The site has over 100,000 registered members who have uploaded thousands of photos. Future's editorial team add articles, photo tutorials and videos using bespoke workflows designed to get the content to the users fast.

We provided architecture consultancy and performance consultancy in addition to building the site - delivering a strategically important project on time and on budget.

Sarah Raven - www.sarahraven.com

Sarah Raven is a presenter on BBC Gardeners’ World, she also writes for The Daily Telegraph, Gardens Illustrated and Gardeners’ World Magazine. Her books include The Cutting Garden, which won The Specialist Gardening Book of the Year.

We were approached to provide a sophisticated e-commerce site that could also support significant amounts of content, forums and other rich dynamic features easily. We built a combined Drupal and Magento site integrated with their bespoke fulfillment system.

We also provided consultancy on the move to a cheaper but more powerful email marketing system, allowing them to direct campaigns to the right customers at the right time.

The University of Kent, the UK’s European University, is one of the country’s most dynamic institutions with 18,000 students studying in Canterbury, Medway, Tonbridge and Brussels.

The University has a nationally recognised Web Services department who had chosen Drupal as their future CMS platform. Following a comprehensive review they chose Deeson eMedia to provide Drupal architecture and bespoke development consultancy services.

Participation Works is is funded by the The Big Lottery Fund and the Department for Children, Schools and Families to provide enable organisations to effectively involve children and young people in the development, delivery and evaluation of services that affect their lives.

They approached us because their previous site wasn't capable of delivering what they needed - an interesting, good looking site to provide information and resources to a national audience. We integrated the new site with their existing SalesForce CRM solution and provided a full training, hosting and support package.

Top Secret Drupal

There are some projects that we're under pain of death to never disclose that we've built. Whether to spare another agency's blushes for 'their' work or because of other commercial sensitivities.

These projects include a site for an international pop superstar that features videos, photos, user generated content and is visited by tens of thousands of people a day. This is in addition to plenty of consultancy for corporations whose standard modus operandi involves a non-disclosure agreement.

In terms of rescues we once produced a network of six sites to promote nationally televised events in 3 weeks for a broadcaster after their original agency had let them down. There was also the time we sent our lead developer to (successfully) salvage a project for a global chip manufacturer that was six months over schedule. And the time we built a multi-national corporate social networking site in a month.

And... well you get the idea. We know how to build high profile sites quickly and reliably.
