PayPoint.net Magento modules
Our PayPoint.net payment modules comes in varieties based on the options that PayPoint.net offers; one module for Complete Solutions, two for Payment Gateways and one for PayCash.
The Payment Gateway version encompasses the PayPoint.net Lite and Professional products and allows sites to take credit and debit card payments without the user leaving their site's branded experience. Users enter payment information into a PayPoint.net generated, site branded payment screen (equivalent to a legacy SECPay solution).
Payment Gateway Direct is supported by the Professional Gateway products and allows sites to take credit and debit card payments without the user leaving the Magento site at any point. This means One Page Checkout can be used. The payment details are not stored within Magento but authorised live in the background with PayPoint.net. Note: this module does not work with multi-ship if 3-D Secure is switched on.
The Complete Solutions version has similar functionality to the Payment Gateway solutions and allows site to take credit and debit card payments. The payment form can be modified to replicate the site branding in a similar fashion to the Payment Gateway solution, but this requires permission on the account. More information can be found at www.paypoint.net. This module is equivalent to a legacy Metacharge solution.
The PayCash module supports PayPoint.net's innovative PayCash solution. Note: this module does not support multi-ship. The barcode is emailed to the purchaser and is available in Magento admin.
The modules require a per domain license which includes all future releases in the v1 series. This will include bug fixes and support for Magento releases that don't require major module architecture changes.

Does the user stay within my site at all times?
Payment Gateway and Complete Solution
No, the user will be handed off to a PayPoint.net hosted page to make payment. This page can be branded to match your site with a PayPoint.net Payment Gateway/Complete Solution package. Branding the PayPoint.net page is the responsibility of the purchaser and is not included in the price.
Payment Gateway Direct
Yes, the user will remain within your site at all times and One Page Checkout is supported.
How do I install the module?
You will require shell / command line access to the Magento installation. You will also need access to the PEAR shell command. Full instructions are provided with the module (INSTALL.txt).
Will you install the module for me?
If you would like us to install the module for you or require help installing the module then we have a fixed installation support fee of £100 plus VAT.
Magento's structure requires that 3rd party module installation is performed by an experienced web developer with full shell and file system access.
Magento is a sophisticated software package that payment modules are only a small part of, incorrect Magento configuration will prevent a payment module from working correctly.
This fee covers full support by email to help resolve any issues with installation in your environment, in some cases we will need SSH and Magento admin access to resolve problems directly.
In the unlikely case that the issue is purely caused by a bug in the module then the installation support fee would be refunded.
If you would like installation support please contact us with details of the problem and your invoice details. We require the invoice to be cleared before we start work.
