Who are we?

We have been developing, designing, hosting and providing content for websites since 2001. Deeson eMedia is part of the Deeson Group, a publishing and communications agency established in London in 1958.

We specialise in customising and supporting the best of breed of open source software to provide our clients with the cutting edge features and technology at a reasonable cost.

We provide a range of services from one-off development tasks to ongoing full site management. Some of our clients take advantage of the in-house team of editors to write content for their print and online titles on a daily basis. They have one point of contact and a full creative and technical team in one location delivering their service.

How we do it?

We pride ourselves on having transparent prices and being easy to work with. This is how we retain our almost 100% client retention rate, by doing what we say we will, when we say we will and at the cost we agreed. Some of our new clients seem to think this is a refreshing change. We can offer this level of service with confidence because we have an experienced team that's been delivering websites on time and on budget for nearly eight years.

Meet the team

Tim Deeson
Director & Project Manager

Tim started the web division in 2001 and has been growing it ever since. His background is in software development although he now spends more time on project management.

Tim likes solving real world business problems through software development, he finds it satisfying for some reason.

Luke Simmons
Developer & Drupal lead

Luke currently wiles away his days working on the sort of projects that require enough flow charts to be unenvironmentally friendly if we printed them (we don't).

He has spent most working hours since early 2007 developing projects in Drupal, our CMS of choice. He qualified as a CIW Web Site Manager in 2006.

Peter Berryman
Developer

Pete is the resident PhD that every self-respecting software development company must have these days. His experience in solving large, open-ended software problems has been very useful, the physics not so much.

No clients have requested ethanol and water molecule interaction simulators (yet), much to his disappointment.

Paul Harmer
Designer & Usability lead

Paul studied graphic design when graphic design was generally printed on dead trees. Having proved himself in print, web offered the kind of creative challenges Paul was looking for.

Having spent a further five years wrangling with the joys of accessible HTML & CSS support he now frequently threatens to start using nothing but pencils.

Chris Richards
Content Administrator

Chris is responsible for keeping the sites up to date and managing our Reveal magazine content. A graduate of Multimedia Technology and Design, he knows our sites backwards.

Chris is also our resident heavy metal rocker, we don't generally share his tastes but we're still impressed by his musical talents!

At roundabout ignore first exit marked Faversham. Take second exit marked Homestall/Graveney.

At T-junction turn left.

After approximately 200 yards on the left hand side of the road there is a row of semi-detached cotages, with a barn set-back. Take the gravel track immediately before these buildings - driving carefully to avoid farm vehicles.

Follow the gravel track and bear left onto the tarmac. The office is straight ahead of you.

There is ample car-parking either in the front car-park or on the hard standing opposite.
